Jacqueline Fernandez hails from Manama in Bahrain. Her family was raised as part of an multiethnic family. Jacqueline's father Elroy Fernandez comes originally from Sri Lanka (Sinhalese - Catholic)and her mother Kim is Malaysian. Jacqueline has two older siblings and a younger sibling. Parents moved to Bahrain in the late 1980s as a result of the Lankan turmoil and she was born and raised in Bahrain. She received a scholarship to go to an undergraduate program at the University of Sydney in Sydney Australia following the completion of her schooling in Bahrain. The love of languages and cultures inspired her to enroll in the Berlitz language school, where she mastered French and Arabic while learning Spanish. Miss Sri Lanka 2006 was crown in March 2006; she also participated in Miss Universe 2006 Her first appearance on television was after she won an award for the Miss Sri Lanka title. The show she hosts, Lanka Business Report, covers Sri Lankan business. Padukone had the honor of being a daughter and badminton champion Prakash Padukone. Padukone grew her life in Bangalore and is a native of Copenhagen. As a teenager she competed in badminton at the national championships, but she ended her profession in sports in order to be a fashion model. Padukone is from Mangalore, and her mother language is Konkani. Her lineage hails from Padukone village in Kundapura Taluk in the Udupi District of the state of Karnataka, India. Prakash Padukone's father was an international champion in badminton who is retired. The mother of the child is a traveling agent.
